I’m thrilled to present another one my project: a Hackintosh built from an IBM ThinkPad T61, blending legacy hardware with the modern capabilities of macOS. This project showcases my skills in system customization and technical problem-solving, transforming a classic laptop into a versatile macOS machine.
The IBM ThinkPad T61 Hackintosh demonstrates my expertise in operating system customization, hardware compatibility, IT troubleshooting by achieving seamless integration between macOS and older hardware. This endeavor highlights my ability to extend the life of legacy systems while delivering a contemporary user experience.
I created this site using a Hacintosh. This opportunity came up during school 2010 when my instructors were strictly Mac users, and they discouraged using PCs in class. As a result, I started exploring Hacintoshes, especially since I was already interested in VMware and running different operating systems on various types of hardware. This exploration has allowed me to make informed choices and work within different environments. Although I love PC hardware, I've found myself growing disillusioned with the Windows space.
